When I first started this site I was living in the midwest and visiting Maine, but I have lived in Portland for over five years. I love Maine! It has become an increasingly viable subject for my watercolors. Maine is a style of contrasts, warmth, and cool and diversity in genre. It has distinctly different geographical environments to paint. This section chronicles those explorations. More to come!
